DSR2TOOLS - DalSoRi R2.0 toolset

DSR2TOOLS are a set of tools for the DalSoRi R2.0 OPL4 sound extension.

These are support tools for the DalSoRi R2.0 OPL4 sound extension. As more tools a released, the archive is updated.

DSR2TOOLS use the MSX-DOS environment and has full support for different file systems, like FAT16 and CD-ROM. More and more mass storage device interfaces have native FAT16 support and people use it without knowing.

Currently the list of tools is:

  • DSR2SET
    • Configure every setting in the DalSoRi R2.0 OPL4 sound extension:
      • MSX-AUDIO Compatibility
      • MoonSound Compatibility
      • Select 2 MB ROM and 2 MB SRAM
      • Select 4 MB SRAM
      • Display current status
  • DSRSROM
    • Load an alternative Sample ROM into SRAM. Due to the possibly large file size of the target, only MSX-DOS 2 is supported.

31 December 2017 - As an increasing list of tools for the DalSoRi R2.0 OPL4 sound extension, the first tools of DSR2TOOLS are released. The first tools are DSR2SET (a tool to configure every setting of the DalSoRi R2.0 OPL4 sound extension) and DSR2SROM (a tool to load customised Sample ROM into SRAM).

Changes and new tools:

  • new: DSR2SET, configures every setting of the DalSoRi R2.0 OPL4 sound extension
  • new: DSR2SROM, load a customised Sample ROM into SRAM
